Is Memorial Day really this weekend?! Since I don’t want to think about wearing a bathing suit just yet, I’ll think about one of my favorite parts of summer… ice cream. Well, I eat ice cream all year round, but there is something so nostalgic about going out for an ice cream cone on a summer night. Whenever I do any summer entertaining, I can’t help but come up with a fun ice cream dessert to share. Here are a few favorites that I’ve shared in the past:

Nice timing with this post. I just got an ice cream maker and now have half of a gallon of vanilla ice cream in my freezer. This gives me some ideas on how to use it.

I usually feel the same way about summer, but this year I found the most amazing bathing suit with the 3rd one I tried on. Now I say bring it on!
You are an ice cream pie master! I could definitely go for a slice of the pumpkin and chocolate :) And then maybe a quick run before I put on that bathing suit and spend time at the lake!
My addiction to ice cream is rivaled only by my addiction to peanut butter. I want all of these. Like…now.

Ugh… don’t remind me about bathing suit season (although I guess it’s technically always bathing suit season in Hawaii)… I’ve been baaaad lately. And maybe I’ll continue the streak a little longer with one of these great treats!
